RUMOUR : Angry Birds - but as a pig?

The guys over at Pocket-lint have learned that Rovio, creator of the famous Angry Birds games, is planning to release a version of the game that allows you to play as the pigs.

Your job is to defend the eggs you have stolen from the birds. The catapult and wooden and stone structures are still present from the other games. Different pigs will have different skills - like the birds.

They say they've seen the app in action, and they are expecting a release by Christmas.
