Nintendo announced that the newest game in their widely popular franchise, New Super Mario Bros. U, will be available the same day the console is released. This feature allows users to watch movies, TV shows and sports on either the TV or the screen integrated on the tablet. This also includes paid streaming services such as Hulu and Netflix.
On the specs side, all we know so far is that the Wii U will have 2 GB of ram (1 GB system memory and 1 GB for games), an IBM powered multi-core GPU as well as AMD delivering the graphics horsepower. Nintendo is keeping this information to themselves so far and more information will be avealable closer or after the release date. The Wii U will still be able to push out 1080P videos to your big screen as well as delivering six-channel audio to your home theatre. A huge improvement over the original Wii. The Wii U will also have a HDMI port as well as S-Video and component to get the pictures to your TV. You can also expect 8022.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi and NFC as well.
