On November 26, 2011, NASA launched their Curiosity Mars Rover from Cape Canaveral, Florida. Almost a year later, on August 6, 2012, the Mars Rover landed on, where else? Mars. Costing upwards of 1.5 billion for the rover alone. The largest rover yet, it weighs 15 times more than Spirit and Opportunity. An awesome music video of it in action can be found here. In conclusion, Mars could be the next frontier, who knows? However, for that to happen, as usual NASA will need more funding.
