RUMOUR: Sony Developing Hybrid Controller?

After Sony filed a patent application for their newest "hybrid seperable motion controller", it seems that the controller is a hybrid of the Dualshock controller and the Playstation Move system. Additional diagrams indicate that the controller can be split in half to play motion games, while retaining the functionality to be joined together as one piece, for classic games. It is also equipped with an accelerometer, speaker, magnetometer, and gyroscope. For all we know, this could just be the new Playstation's controller.
