Intel’s upcoming chipset, Lynx Point (for the 4th gen. Haswell CPUs), has been recently found to have an issue that disconnects devices connected to the USB 3.0 controller, which occurs when the system wakes up from the S3 (suspend-to-RAM) state. According to Hardware.info, the Haswell CPUs will be released on time and so will Lynx Point. The defect requires a complete hardware overhaul so the problem will not be fixed until the next revision. As such, the buyers of the first generation Lynx Point chipset will have to cope with this problem.
