After HTC had launched the HTC First with the Facebook Home software, there has been rumors that HTC will launch a similar phone, dropping the Facebook software. The HTC M4 will be another mid-ranged smartphone, but it will feature HTC’s UltraPixel camera found on the HTC One.
They have claimed that this camera will use an advanced imaging technology, with an optical lens capable of capturing more light than most 8 or 13 megapixel cameras. In turn, this allows for quick shots with vivid colours, even in low light conditions. I would have preferred that this type of technology was implemented on point-and-shoot cameras, rather than on a phone. HTC might be too single-feature oriented, drawing consumers to this camera and not the phone itself.

As for the phone itself, it is expected to feature a
4.3-inch screen, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, HTC Sense 5 UI, 1.2Ghz dual-core
Snapdragon processor, 16GB of internal storage, 1GB of RAM, a 1.6MP HTC UltraPixel
rear camera, a front facing camera, and Bluetooth 4.0.
